“Leading with Grit and Grace”

Ashleigh Walters, president and co-owner of Onex, Inc., has been a part of the Onex family ever since moving to the Rust Belt in Ohio to revive her husband’s family business 18 years ago. With compassion, empathy and a focus on continuous improvement principles and problem-solving skills, Walters led a transformation of the business’ organizational culture by inspiring personnel to learn from failures, embrace innovative solutions and solve problems while continuously improving processes. Dan Clark and Kyle Lane, leading trainers and managers within the Wise Plastics organization, have spent 20+ years coaching up-and-coming professionals inside their organization and out on the foundational principles that will help them secure advancement within their professional environments. Through a review of past pitfalls in the workplace, an introduction to RACI principles and the role that team and individual accountability plays in leadership development and company-wide impact, attendees will work in teams of peers alongside each facilitator to explore the RACI principles and apply them to specific situations.
