This presentation will be covering what dynamic mechanical analysis is and what it tells you about a rubber sample. The talk will hit on the different types of sample conformations, what the E’and E” values represent, and what the Tan Delta tells us about the data. As DMA is used heavily in the tire industry this presentation will go over how DMA values can be used as predictors in field applications as well as show some video of a DMA in action. This presentation will include a data curve and explain what the data means. The talk will be a brief overview for those who are interested to learn more about DMA capabilities.
