This two-day event is designed to be an intensive and immersive professional development opportunity for industry young professionals interested in growing their leadership skills and manufacturing expertise. The 2024 Leadership Summit will give attendees firm and applicable leadership skills, allow meaningful networking, and problem-solving and connect with industry peers for long-lasting growth and development. 

Attendees will join John Vermeesch, Founder & Steward, Narrow Road Coaching LLC as he guides young professionals through a full day of leadership centered on Influence, the Essence of Leadership. 

Not only will attendees focus on developing their leadership, but they will also be taken on an in-depth tour of MAPP member Hansen Plastics and have a facilitated discussion opportunity to contribute their own continuous improvement ideas for Hansen Plastics to better their own operations.

About the Speaker 

John Vermeesch's journey has been shaped over a lifetime through the peaks and valleys of military, entrepreneurial, and corporate experience. Along the way, he has always been privileged to walk alongside amazing people and steward excellent organizations. 

In the Army, Vermeesch served as an infantry officer, leading and training soldiers stateside and abroad for nearly 28 years. He has the extraordinary and rewarding privilege of leading "America's sons and daughters" in combat during Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and New Dawn. As commander, led over 900 people in Baghdad, serving over three million Iraqi citizens. As a Colonel, Vermeesch directed an Army-wide Center of Excellence focused on the ethical and character development of the entire U.S. Army. 

In the private sector, Vermeesch helped leaders through both high touch 1-on-1 coaching as well as senior executive leadership facilitation. As an executive coach, he has walked alongside dozens of leaders at early-stage companies, high growth, and manufacturing organizations. He has been blessed to create and deliver leadership development programs for thousands of individuals at all levels of organizations.
