Anchor Investments company recently acquired Southern Michigan Rubber

We are pleased to announce that Southern Michigan Rubber has been acquired by Anchor Investments, LLC.  Anchor Investments currently has multiple companies under management and is located in Southlake, Texas.  Southern Michigan Rubber joins Elastotech and Titan BOP Rubber Products under Anchor Investments elastomer division.  Collectively the elastomer division represents 90 years of manufacturing experience, over 70,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing, and 3 ISO certified facilities.   

Anchor’s objective is to acquire profitable and high growth business units which have synergy with its existing portfolio of companies.  We believe in building upon the legacy and strengths of the acquired businesses to provide world class service to our customers.

Our goal for the acquisition of Southern Michigan Rubber is to combine our years of experience, manufacturing capacity and capabilities to better support existing customers.  Southern Michigan Rubber will continue to operate, service and support its current customers, vendors, from its existing location with minimal changes.

All SMR team members will continue to run the operations in Three Rivers, Michigan.  The previous owner and CEO, Marel Riley-Ryman (marel@smrubber.com) will continue with the business as a consultant for continuity. The incoming President of the Company is Jordan Frye (jfrye@smrubber.com).
