In it's June 2024 update, ECHS added a chemical commonly used as an initiator in rubber compounds to its list of Substances of Very High Concern - SVHC.
It is CAS# 80-43-3 We buy it as DI-CUP-40C from Harwick.
We are having a tough time concluding whether this gets used up in cure, and whether we can certify to our customers that our compound has less than the .1% threshold established by REACH.
Anyone else working on this? Anyone had lab testing done on finished compound?
Thanks in advance,
