I'm not aware of any requirements. Obviously the more the better from a comfort standpoint. But, I have (and ARPM I think has copies) some older studies that were done the prove the smoke and particulate from curing rubber are not cancer causing.

Vibra-cool for material preforms
We are investing in a gear pump preformer from VMI and need to upgrade our dip tank - the one we have currently can handle 100 pound out of our barwell but won't be able to keep up with the VMI unit.
Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with vibra-cool type systems?
Thanks,
Charlie

Re: Adjustable height platforms
John, We had some of these, they were roughly 8ft x 4ft and had a scissor action that raised and lowered them. I believe they hooked up to 110 power and were hydraulic. For whatever reason, we have gotten away from them and gone instead to a minimum platform and the a bunch of large steps in various...

Dow Megum 2525 adhesive
We are using this adhesive for our silicone medical handles. We're using a small amount each year and we have to buy a 5 gallon bucket that only lasts 12 months. And, lead time for a 5 gallon bucket is 4-6 months. Unfortunately, it's the adhesive that's been approved and we can't change it. Does any...

Re: Legal Drug Testing?
My understanding is that you have to have it in your policy book that you can test whenever you want - then you probably could. We try to avoid testing without cause because it can be construed as favoritism (the folks you don't pick) or discrimination (the folks you do test). Generally we do a rand...

Re: COVID-19 High Risk Employees
Unfortunately, we've only been able to offer options to these folks that are not good. 1) unpaid leave 2) friendly termination so they can get unemployement - but we can't guarantee their job will be available to hire back. These folks really got left out of the current aid packages. Aside from that...

adhesive suggestion needed
Hello,
I have to glue some open cell foam to Neoprene rubber. Does anyone have any suggestions for an adhesive that's thick enough not to be absorbed by the foam and flexible enough to not crack when the assembly is flexed?
Thanks

Re: Cutting tools for cured rubber
What shape are you trying to cut? Is it consistent each time like a part or is it irregular?
Where are you trying to cut it - can the rubber be moved to a cutting table or station or does it have to be cut somewhere with space constraints?
