We have a QC tech that goes back to our suppliers for compliance information. We don't compound in-house, so it makes that little easier.

Re: Venting requirements for molded rubber
I have seen guidelines for general air turn suggestions for various applications. I don't remember where I saw it, but I think it was an industry trade group of some sort. I'm not aware of any actual requirements for rubber. I would suggest partnering with your local MEP/EHS organization to do air q...

Die cutting tolerances
Is anyone aware of a tolerance chart for die cutting solid rubber sheet? The only info I see in the ARPM standard is for sponge.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Adjustable height platforms
Anyone have experience with adjustable height platforms for operators at presses? We have a wide range of heights we need to accommodate to make our operations more ergonomic. We would like the up/down adjustment to be easy and quick.
Thanks!

Mold plate handling
Anyone had experience integrating any automation/material handling/cobots/etc to remove centerplates from presses and locate for the operator to demold. Most of these situations for us are low volume/high mix in our injection presses where the normal ejector style handling isn't effective for us. We...

Mold Change Cart
Is anyone using a mold change system that they really like? We are looking to reduce the strain on our setup people by having the mold change system do the push/pull of the mold into and out of the press.
Thanks,

Molder with adjustable speed silicone mixing mill
We have a project that we are not capable of doing and would like to refer our customer to someone. It's a very unique platinum silicone material that requires a very slow mill speed to mix properly. Looking for someone with this capability that are good molders as well. Thanks, John The Rubber Group

OSHA compliant blow off nozzle
Does anyone have any recommendations for OSHA compliant blow off nozzles that would keep us from having to reduce our air pressure to the 30 psi required by the standard? We use these a lot for demolding and removing flash and runners from molds. We would prefer something with a rubber or non marrin...
